Walthamstow so swanky now, you get a better class of dumping. Walking back from the tube station this morning having walked my sister there with her enormous suitcase on the way to Paris. Puddles around from a rather wet and blustery night.
She hadn't fancied any breakfast so I gave her a goody bag of leftover sweets, lebküchen and a satsuma. And she decided against the Uber, the traffic seeming quite slow to St Pancras hence the walk to the station.
Mum stayed a bit longer watching Sky News while I worked upstairs, again eschewing Uber to take the bus to Crouch End as the sun was out. Of course it started raining not long after.
3 good things
1. Unearthed some spare Euros to give to my sister as she hadn't managed to get any before leaving today.
2. Six good candidates from the sifting for our vacancy.
3. Sam Sweeney playing tracks from his album Escape That live in the In Tune studio.
It's a beautiful shot of this lovely house. The furniture out front is very tidy. I'd like to think that they've arranged a proper pick up for this obsolete furniture.
Lots of "street furniture" to be spotted in Brighton too but it never seems to stay very long - not sure if the council remove it or it finds a new home....
