On another damp morning though it had stopped raining by the time I set off for the office. A few showers later. In fact i got caught by one as I went to my lunchtime hair appointment.
A lot of new street art gone up near us - wish I'd got the foreground one in the reflection better.
Left work early to get a bus to Great Portland Street and a recording of Radio 4's News Quiz for tomorrow. Joined the queue and Lara arrived not long before we were let in. Had wine and food in the café and catch-up chat.
The show was as always entertaining despite it being a long time since the heady days of really good material to satirise - no Boris, no Brexit Bulldog, no lettuce Liz. Just a rather beige Labour party conference and all-hell-on-earth in the Middle East (hard to find any funny sides there obvs).
T and B arrived at mum's and cooked her dinner and tried to work out her hoover. They were back at ours when I got in for tea and chocolate.
Downstairs landlord's plumber was supposed to go round and try and solve the water pressure issue at the flat but I'm not sure that he got there.
