Seasalt specials. Finally relaxing at home after a tricky day. Would have liked to have met @illinilass, @casablanca and @rensala but knew I'd have to juggle work and visiting mum and in the end I wasn't all that well.
We both had a terrible night, too cold, too hot, restless and for me a hopelessly active brain. Tummy still playing up and making me feel icky.
Woke up stressing more with feeling ill and needing to go to mum's later. Called in sick feeling it the best option and amazingly was then able to fall asleep and get rest.
Got up but still not feeling 100 percent and not wanting to need the loo while in an Uber to mum's, avoided eating anything. Ordered in groceries for mum to take with me.
At mum's worked out how to charge the hoover while waiting for the carer to arrive. She was on time and was friendly and efficient - gave the bathroom a clean and hoovered. Seemed happy to help with anything.
Got an Uber back and just collapsed on the bed, eating toast to finally test out the tummy.
Well, I wonder why I like those so much?! Hope toast kept you going and glad about the carer. Hope they continue being good, we found them a mixed bag. Feel well and sleep tonight!
@blightygal she's only coming around once a fortnight to help with light housework - to get my mum used to the idea of having some support - so when she may need more support, it might be easier....
@boxplayer Ah, grand, sounds like a good plan. We had them in to get Ted out of bed and making him a cuppa & sarnie as he was sleeping too much. Some of them were fab, a few no so. One went out and left the front door wide open, all night too because Ted didn't notice as had a porch, porch door closed.
Aw Ayla…. Feel for you! You might have a nasty bug….hope it goes asap! Glad mum has a bit of extra help which in its own way helps you too. Have a quiet few days & I love your cat socks!
