This is a magnificent tree in one of our city parks. It's Ginko tree, and it's been here forever. I grew up here, spent my childhood in this park.
I remember that we were comming here in front of this giant, while in kindergarden, observing it change through seasons.
And that is what I will do. I missed snow this winter, but anyway the major blast would be autumn, so I guess I'll have to stick with 365 for a while.
I tried so badly to do U-shape histogram on this tree, and I succeded, but not on this photo. This one was instant pick for me, so I left U shape for another time. I guess practice is what metters. Actually I've learned something about how to get an U-shape..
Watch this for ideas: (B&H Video) He talks about the histogram. I don't work for, or endorse any of the problems or publications https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeG9Wm0-yXw
@maree_sanderson, thank you for the input, Now that you mentioned I remember that once, I learned in school that ginko is prehistorical tree and forgot...But I do know it's medical herb used for different conditions...
(I am not sure "medical herb" is good phraze-you know some better way to say that- lack of english knowledge)
This is a fabulous tree - I don't think I have seen a ginkgo this large before.
your choice of b&w has really highlighted the form of this beautiful and ancient specimen.
