We counted 600 footsteps from our summer house to our beach. (and this is not the closest beach)
We have chosen this beach as ours ever since we got kids.
The great thing about this beach are pine trees, planted by house owners somewhere at the end of 70's. So we have deep shades through the hottest part of the day. We literally have a pine roof there
For some reason they (?) cut down the entire line of trees that provided early morning shade- which is why you don't see a shade in this photo. The reason for that is parking. For me it is devastation, and it makes me sad...
I must say that entire beach throughout the place is a perfect combination of natural and originally present materials like stone (a lot of stones), soil, plants, and human interference like thin layer of concrete, some stairs, little walls, docs, and recently a bench or two... It is usually very clean and tidy, because everyone that comes here behaves like it is their own backyard, but there are always the others...
And a little story from the time we started to go to this beach...
I remember my little Nina when she was one year old crawling with her baby friend Filip on beach towels- They were crawling one behind the other in their diapers and we (parents) were running like crazy putting some more towels so they can keep crawling and laughing...(imagine that baby from Tom and Jerry times two)
