Angel Wings

The Two-tailed Swallowtail is my favorite butterfly. Their colors are so beautiful. They are one of the bigger butterflies, but they are the most graceful I've seen.

Even though my neighbor cut his field, I still have my hayfield for my butterfly hunts. :0)

We call them Tiger Swallowtails. I have only seen one this year and one Monarch on the wing. The number of butterflies this summer is way, way down from previous years. Cool photo...

I saw a different kind of butterfly about our garden today! Was bigger than the usual 3 we have.. although it paid us a flying quick visit. Straight through our garden and onto the next and the next.. aww. At the time I didn't have my camera either, I just took it in!! Tut.
