This post is mainly for Ian, the heather on the moor is nearly out, just showing colour all over and the bell heather nearly finished. It will be another 7-10 days before it’s really colourful but that depends on the weather now. Temps only 15c today at least it’s stopped bucketing down.

Beautiful to see the colour beginning to appear across the moor - fav! We are planning a walk in just over a week to see the heather on the moor tops. The weather forecast is suggesting more sun from the middle of next week, so hopefully the ling should look really good by the time of our walk.
