Surprise, surprise, we have robins nesting, right outside our back door in a Italian wall vase under the canopy. They nested a few years ago in the same place, it's thankfully way out of the reach of my cat Charlie, he did leave them alone last time and the whole nest successfully fledged.:D. So fingers crossed they will manage this time. We don't know how far along they are as the vase is stuffed to the gills with leaves, moss and twigs, hopefully I will get a photo or two. For the first time I managed to get some close up shots as daddy was trying to get by me to finish his nest building.
