Even though it was a cold grey winters day Whitby harbour was colourful and busy getting on with everyday life. I was lucky enough to catch the swing bridge as it opened to let this colourful bright yellow dredger through, its name was the Sands end.
I just love Whitby at any time of the year, this was first time we had managed to get parked in over a year, usually we just have to pass on through!.

Thank you for all your comments and favs all are much appreciated and very welcome.
We were there in October, our first visit...we loved it. I was born in Yorkshire so unreasonably proud to claim this as my heritage. An easy no brainer! @beryl Me too, waiting for the jigsaw.
@beryl
Believe it or not I have checked into this as a jigsaw as I have two enthusiasts in the family. The cheapest I can get one is £30 plus p+p that is a 1000 piece one, so I am having to re think that thought!!
