A lovely afternoon 22c so had a run over to Richmond to watch the fish jumping the falls to go up the river to spawn, we think they were trout but try as I might I couldn’t catch one on camera. The falls as you can see from the photo are red/brown in colour which is probably iron and peat so impossible to catch a view of any fish until they jumped.

There is some That looks like a fish swimming up stream near the bottom of the large yellow stream. Probably a shadow or a part of stone but fun to imagine a fish
I waste more battery charge putting my camera on continuous shoot drive mode for things exactly like this. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The colors in the water are so pretty. I wondered if there was a lot of iron. Sometimes tannin colors standing water down toward our coastal areas. I like the layers of color in the rocks and the great splashes. This is a great shot.
