Contrasts

This is a photo taken at the top of the moor, the gorse makes a beautiful hedge and a border to the barrenness of the moor. The patches are where the heather is recovering and in a few weeks time for a short length of time the heather will flower and the moor comes alive with light and colour before fading back to the colour it is now.
Better on black

Thank you for all your get well wishes, I do appreciate each and every one. Yesterday’s appointment was for the start of physio which will hopefully help me get the use of my arms back after so long without swimming they have become very stiff creaky and very very painful. I relied on the swimming to keep the arthritis at bay but with being so ill I have not had a chance to get in the pool again yet.
Great layers and contrasts

It's all so sparse yet glorious. Love the yellows of the gorse in the foreground.

Good to hear you are starting physio- and hopefully get back into the pool! I always feel so much better after a gentle swim!

A lovely shot of this unusual landscape and colour. I so wish you all the best and hope that you will soon be back to your normal self. I have very bad osteoarthritis in hands and fingers, so I feel your pain.

A wonderful image. It does look like the fence and hedge are the cut off for the grass.
