The other day looking towards the moors is the village of Commondale nestled in the trees over to the left of the photo. No sunshine but the weather was fine, the row of white buildings on the hill is on the bank that leads you out of the little village. In August the village is surrounded by purple heather and on still days the perfume of honey hangs thick in the air.
