Kehen Temple by darylo

Kehen Temple

Edy, my guide, took this photo of me in front of one of the many shrines inside Temple Kehen. The sky was so blown out in many of my photos here, which is depressing, but I think the details are good. Certainly gives you a sense of scale.

BTW, Edy always brought us beautiful sarongs to wear at temples each day (required for all who enter). I rather enjoyed Sarong life, and I was given a beautiful one by my new Balinese friend, Kadek, who worked at the villa where I stayed. She was so helpful, and I spent my last night with her, her son, nephew, and Edy eating at her brother-in-law's restaurant, which is right in front of her home. I have such fond personal memories.
I actually like the blown out sky. It makes the gold and magenta really stand out. Fav.

You look mahvelous in front of this exotic architecture!! The blown out sky accents the structure very well! You should wear a sarong all rthe time! It becomes you!

Nice to see you, and what a lovely memory of your Balinese experiences.

That's quite a shrine. I can see why you had issues since it is so dark.

There are some lovely details on this shrine, especially the door. The sarong looks good, and must have been nice and cool.
