I have so many photos of what wrens eat--a ton of bugs...a TON of bugs. I've decided to put this in EOTB too. I mean, from the bird's perspective, the bug is lovely and delicious. :)
@wadazomo Hi Dave. I've been practicing a bunch with birds since I started this project. Most do not come out that great and I crop and try to work with detail in processing (trying out Lightroom 5, beta). My biggest goals have been to use manual mode, learn my settings to get the best advantage, and make up what I can in processing--the processing is a new goal. Now that I'm in month 6, I've come a loooooong way. If you see some of my early bird shots in particular, I could not get a good focus, which was mostly because of poor lighting. Some very good birder photographers on this site, namely @jo13@foxsparrow@vskolnik have been giving me advice all the time. I just started following you--I'm trying to cut down on commenting some, so please know I'm looking at your photos! Love them! I'm just trying to find "balance" these days. 365 is the greatest thing I've ever done--such fantastic people and I love learning as I go. Total beginner on day one--now I love working with my camera! :)
@espyetta Thanks Marybeth--They are very, very much not still. I luck out every 30 or so shots. I've been practicing a ton. I'm also using LR for the processing and it's quite good. I have so many shots of the wrens. They come to feed every couple of minutes, so lots of opportunities to get it right (and lots to get it wrong, wrong, wrong)
