The weather today was gorgeous. Our temperatures were close to 70. This is one of my favorite spots to walk around. Most of the ice on this smaller pond was still there, but the snow and ice on the parking lot melted, leaving this huge puddle. It provided the perfect setting to capture a nice reflection of this tree, as well as the clouds. I took several photos of the area, and I enjoyed watching the geese and ducks walking around on top of the remaining ice that was still on the ponds. It felt so good to be out doors after work. The weekend will not be quite as warm, but still, cannot complain about the predicted 40 degree outlook, along with gusty winds. I hope you all have a great weekend.
Our weather was beautiful today too! Highs reached mid-70's here too. (South Texas) - this is a beautiful shot! Amazing how Mother Nature inspires this time of year, isn't it? I love the energy in the air of the planet waking back up after it's winters nap.
Beautiful pastel colors - so pretty. We're melting a little, too, but there are still piles of snow on the edge of the streets where the plows shoved it. I love seeing the sun and thinking about spring.
Just beautiful (as always!). I like the background story too, because if you didn't know it was a puddle, you'd think it was a lake. The colors of the sky and the silhouette of the tree are lovely.
You are luck your weather is getting warmer, because here in California is cold, but I like it a lot actually, but most people here they don't.
