Well stephanie, i have done as you asked and had a quick look at some of your album and wow!! and i am not just saying this. i love your type of work because I dont(cant ) do it. To me your photographs are young edgy and I love the editing and the angle that you take them at. ( I always forget to do that ) You only have a point and shoot?? Goes to show you, it is the talent that matters not so much the equipment. I look forward to following you.

Hi stephanie :-) i just had a look at your pics and i am impressed i love your use of texture and editing. If you would like a specific picture critiqued add the tag on them saying critique-me. Also get following people, get involved in the discussions/community and your photos will get noticed more :-)

im no expert but i like your shots ! im now following u :)

the best way to get feedback is to give feedback , comment , follow and join in discussions and people will notice you and start to follow , comment etc in return :)

Well, you do good work. But seriously, if you want serious critique...

First, you shouldn't beg for feedback. You only have 6 followers. A lot of people have over 100 plus followers.

You also need to spend the effort to critique others. If you don nothing but wait for people to critique you, no one will. I am not saying that is the case, as I don't know, but you receive what you give.

I apologize if I sound very direct, it is not a reflection of my personality. But if people want critique, they should not always expect the positive, but a dose of reality too.

Get more followers.

I,myself, am a new fan of your work. Keep it up. Dig deep if you really want to do something unique!

Hello Stephanie, it is always good to hear of somebody taking up photography at a young age, and I have looked at your photographs. You clearly have talent and ideas and deserve encouragement. Your work is good and you are right to feel pleased with the results, but 'good' or 'pleasing' are not always enough to attract comments so please don't feel too disappointed. Friends and family are usually very willing to say nice things but strangers don't always respond quite as readily if they feel they are being pressed to comment.

I will be happy to follow you - not because you are asking but becuse I do like to see and encourage young talent, but I will not promise to say "That's nice" unless I can genuinely add further comments on why I like a particular image.

Please follow the advice in previous posts; get involved and let people know that you are truly interested, and they will be sure to respond.

Good luck.

Hey
If you're new 'welcome!'
So heres some things to help -
thank people who comment (which i see you already sometimes do)
Check your homepage and your followers pages to comment on their pics if you like them - often you do one for them, they do one for you.
Also spend some time looking at new people and finding pics you like, for inspiration and ideas. You might not remember all of them but when you're out and about with your camera you have the references in the back of your mind and it helps direct you - then comment and you'll build up more followers.
Find discussions where you post one of your own to get people interested.
My opinion - I love your snow pics from a few weeks ago, like adore them. Your more recent ones not so much, and I'd suggest process your pics to improve them but don't make it too obvious they're processed, spell words as adults would spell them because teenagers are not the main group on the website, and explain your photos fully so people can respond to them i.e. explain local things foreign users might not understand, and say what you like or don't like about your pic and they'll comment. hope that helps.

@blackandwhite3 I also suggest to put Critique-Me as a tag. I have done this for a few of my photos and will get people that give me their feed back.

Hi Stephanie, I'vve just checked out your project. Like someone else has mentioned. You absolutely need to start following more than 6 people. A lot of people will follow back if you follow them, They need to know you are out there. So start following. Not saying they will all follow you back, at least it's a start. Having said that make sure you follow people who you are actually interested in, not just for the sake of following.

There is a browse and pick. It's pretty easy and has all the instructions there. I suggest you participate in some of those to get your photos out there.

The other thing I have noticed is that you haven't actually posted anything new since the 16th Feb. There may or may not be a reason for this. The reason your followers aren't commenting is because they have nothing to comment on and are waiting for new photos, as opposed to commenting on old photos.

I'm not one to be critiquing people's photos, I'm only new myself. I know what I like and what I don't. I hope what I've written above will help you get your name out in to the 365 community, build your list of followers and the list you follow.
Good Luck!!

@blackandwhite3 Make us proud. Like Arthur said, a lot of us (I included) are enamored that a 15 year old has such an interest, beyond the cell phone selfie for the MySpace page. Keep up the good work!
