Anyone who wants to come and meet up you are WELCOME - open invitation. By the looks of it there will be other meet-ups for those who can't make this day.
Meet: 12noon outside the ticket office of the London Eye (Train stations nearby: Waterloo or Westminster).
Good way to meet new people, put faces to pictures, share stories/tips/experience and have a laugh.
It starts at 9.30 ish, so should be finished by midday, but everywhere around Westminster/Embankment/Whitehall will be busy as approx 25,000 runners make their way home!
@hehe1308 I did the Great North Run last year and had a disposable camera with me to take photos from the midst of the race. Got some great images of people in fancy dress. Just a thought and have fun.
@megsy As I live in Northern Ireland and have to be careful of my holiday entitlement this year then I won't be able to meet up. I would like to but better luck next time.
@la_photographic - oooh, I'm doing the GNR this year. I was toying with the idea of taking a disposable camera to the 10k, but not sure if I'll be able to take photos during the race as I'm doing it with a work colleague and there's a bit of time-competition going on!
I'm definitely in...just going to see if @judithgreenwood and @frieda are still free...and @9gpie reckons he'll be there. I'll leave my mobile on a shot of yours so if there's a problem we are in contact!
I AM SO SO SORRY EVERYONE, I put this one together and I now can't make it - APOLOGIES for any inconvenience caused. Something has come up that I cannot get out of. Will make it up to ya and will re-arrange. For those who are going to still go - hope you have a fab time and can't wait to see your shots.
Once again I AM REALLY SORRY - wouldn't normally pull out but the other thing that has come up is mega important.
@traeumerlein87 Hi Lisa - I've spoke to @sparkle who's spoken to @9gpie and we are not going to meet up tomorrow as the weather is looking rubbish (nothing new there) and the tennis is on etc. Didn't want you to turn up to nobody there. @lorraineb did you decide to postpone too? I wouldn't like anybody to be there on their lonesome....
