I'm finding it a little hard to take pictures right now cause of the cold weather outside. I have a two year old who is currently sick. She goes to her grandparents every week and I can take pictures outside on the days I don't have her but I'm having trouble being creative inside the house is there any pictures that would be cool to do inside?
@chelcphotography Hi Chelsea, sorry to hear the little one is poorly - always worse when you're stuck indoors. Being stuck in middle England I can sympathise on cold dark weather and what to shoot indoors....!
Oil on water seems a nice one to do inside, and popular at the moment so lots of tips on how to do it. How about water crowns or drops? Good time to find something interesting and do a macro shot, or a 'what is it?' challenge. ? Hope she gets better soon :)
I went through this last year with out grotty weather! try photographing ordinary household objects from odd angles or just in macro the other thing I am doing at the moment is the mull over march challenge being given a specific word tends to focus your thoughts and ideas a bit more athough todays word is proving jolly hard!
Have you done the timeless book in a heart shape shot. Shadow of a ring between the pages of a book is another goodie. Refraction of colour from the computer screen on a glass. Spoon reflections, book shelf captures, show your interests, whatever you enjoy doing.
I do nearly all my shots around the house. Head to any room and do something amazing with the first thing you find! Forks, cushions, jewellery, nail varnish......
@amyamoeba thanks :) and I actually did see your photos cause I seen u made it on the pop (congrats) and thanks :) I'm just not feeling creative inside I think its cause I want to be outside Lol
@chelcphotography aww its awful being cooped up when you want to be out! There seems to be loads of themes running this month so maybe they could get your juices flowin....juice, now there's an indoor shot idea!
@chelcphotography
I've done more than the majority of my project in doors, including MOST of my bird shots, since I started in 2011. As others said, look into the themes, try the "get pushed" challenge etc.
Buy some flowers for your house and take some shots of them? Maybe experiment with different background colours? Like this http://365project.org/brav/365/2013-02-04
