I am starting to get the feel of some of the new features on the website. One thing I like is the easy ability to view people's photos large. But, I use FireFox and when I click on a photo to make it large I am unable to scroll to see the whole photo. The scroll bars move up and down, but not the image. I can only see the top part of portrait format photos. Do I need to install some kind of extension? I tried using Chrome and when I click on the photo it doesn't make it bigger it changes the background color.
Never mind I just figured it out. A few months ago I installed an add-on for Mozilla FireFox called No Squint so you have more control over the size of the browser window, and the background color. I had it set for 110%. Being set at that number kept be from viewing the whole photo. But this depends a lot on the size of image that is uploaded. I decreased the window size to 100% and now I can see the whole photo when magnifying. I was going to delete this but thought I'd leave it in case someone else ran into that problem.
Help then...I also use Firefox and I'm missing the right hand third of each landscape photo when I open the photo. I can see the whole thing off the feed but not on people's pages. Do you have a solution for this one?
I know I am a thicko but where is the control for the browser window in Firefox? I too can not scroll down to see the whole picture thanks in advance for help :(
I also use firefox, and have the same problems - so thanks for this thread! Will see if I can change it so that I can see the bottom of my photos when in large.
@lynnilou - Try pressing and holding the CTRL key and toggle between the + and - key to enlarge and shrink the display. It's too bad the scroll doesn't work because doing it this way defeats the purpose of magnifying the image.
If all else fails, right clicking on the image and selecting "view image" will work. You will no longer have the black background, but you will be able to scroll down and see the whole image.

I rarely use Internet Explorer, but the CRTL and the +- keys controls the display size for IE too.
