For those of you who expressed an interest in the 100 Happy Days challenge, I thought I would just check in to see who is still going and who has stopped. Depending on exactly when you started, you may be on or approaching the halfway point.
So what has been your happiest moment in the last 50 days? Did you manage to capture it in a photograph? Have you stayed with the challenge or found it difficult to do? Has it re-ignited your phojo, as some of you hoped it would?
If you’d like to, please post your favourite photo from your first 50 days in the thread to inspire others and let us know how you are getting on. By doing that, it also keeps the thread under the Hot Topics!
At the time of writing we have 736 photos. I am hoping we are going to have over a 1000 by the time we are done!
If you would like to join the 100 Happy Days challenge, then please join us, tag your photos with 100happydays2015 and have a look at the original thread if you want to. There are still 50 days left, or you can start your own 100 happy days from now, there are no rules!
I have stayed with the challenge and mostly have managed to take and post a photo on the day it was intended for. I've had a few lapses with illness and overwork, but I'm OK with that.
I have managed to keep my Everyday Delights blog going to, but have relaxed a little and have told myself that I don't need to post every single day!
So I guess I am on track. I am actually enjoying it, as it is making me thankful / grateful for the little things everyday and I have to consciously look for something to take a photo of that makes me happy. So much has happened locally in the last 50 days that has tried its best to get me down, but through the blog and this challenge I have managed to stay 'up' - just!
My favourite photo? Hmmm, hard one... I think, it has to be this little chap who appeared on my steps one day during the height of negative events. My shots are all tagged with das100happydays2015
Far from halfway, started late. Not sure if I can keep it up. Happy days are scarce :-)
I'm at 33 at the moment. Too many favorits to show. Actually very pleased with the current collection. For anyone interested, I tagged mine chday: http://365project.org/tags/chday
Today is my day 52 but I'm behind on uploading as life is busy this week. I plan to carry on to day 100 though 365 (and my combining it with 366 days wild!) is not easy at the moment!.
I can't possibly pick one favourite photo... so here's a link to October's calendar view (a full month of 100 Days Happy)! The birdwatching trip on 4th was a good day, and the baby adder on 17th... too many to choose from and I'm indecisive!
@dibzgreasley Yes, please keep me on the list! I've had so many wonderfully happy days, I've not had time to post all the photos I've taken! I need to fill slots as I have the photos; life in Lunenburg is wonderfully amazing...and very happy!
I'm still doing it and plan to complete the 100 days, so please continue to tag me. One of my happiest days was visiting my granddaughter at college in DC. The weather was perfect, and we had a lovely day together, and getting this cute shot of a campus squirrel added to the happy.
Ironically it is not a nature picture but it was one which reminded me of my childhood, a happy visit to my brother and fun processing it. I seem to have run out spark but every photo is a happy moment to be on here. I need to get out again despite the strong winds picking up.
@dibzgreasley a great challenge but I have missed a few days,:-( been busy..., I didn't actually realise until I looked today at my month calendar, ...oh well ...l have had lots of happy days but I do HOPE to keep more on top of my 365 project next year.
I am loving looking for happy days although I have had a couple of unhappy days since this started and in all honesty I couldn't tag those days however it is a real boost to keep looking for things that make me (and hoers around me) happy. thanks for the opportunity. I will keep going. this is but one of my favourite happy days - my 3 year old granddaughter's birthday firework display.

Looking forward to hearing your stories too!
I've tagged those who responded to the original thread or who have posted using the tag. Let me know if you want to be tagged or taken off the list.
Debs, you can take me off if you like - simply because I'd probably include ALL my photos in this!!!! Thanks anyway.

My happy picture from yesterday.
Obviously our love of animals makes up a large part of our happiness!
