Have been playing with this software this week and loving it. As with any new software there is a learning curve but it is very user friendly. (esp after a few You tube videos)

I have just downloaded mine! Very pleased to see the offer as I have been thinking about buying it.

I downloaded it about a week ago and I'm thrilled! My free trial of another package had run out and I was really missing having PS plugins! all seems to be working great!

Just downloaded. Hope it is as amazing as I think it will be.

Yup! Downloaded and had a little play. The only thing I find mildly annoying is that it pops up a window with all the Nik offerings on when I start Photoshop.

I forgot to say... The website I found the Nik download had this YouTube tutorial video (it's just short of an hour long!)

I downloaded it and do find my computer to "freeze." I am working on Photoshop CS6 and then open it as plug in. Hope somebody can give me some help.

I have an older version of the Nik Color Efex (the 3.0 version) and I have used it for quite some time. I love the software, but I'm sad that Google is involved. Every time they acquire something great, they wreck it or kill it off.

@snipsnap - I know what you mean. It isn't just Google. Most large corporate entities when they take over another company, buying out a competitor, gets rid of the product of that company or they change it so much by trying to make it like their product they end up ruining it.

Do you have to have PS to use this?
March 29th, 2016
@meemakelley Yes, or Lightroom, or a Gimp plug-in (which works well but involves some geek stuff to make it happen). It isn't a stand-alone application.

@Dave59 Thanks! I have Lightroom, going to give it a try!

@sketch2 Thank you Dave for answering Kelley's @meemakelley question.

This will also run on Photoshop Elements and even on older versions of Photoshop. I tried it in PS CS2 - and it works, though I did have to manually select the plug-ins folder when I installed it)
