Starting Year Two

December 31st, 2016
Well, I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed my first year of The 365 Project! I've managed to complete it and have I have loved every second of it. I've learnt so much from the amazing photographers on here. I fully intend to continue into a second year (I'd miss it too much if I stopped) but I do have a few questions regarding the organisation of my projects once a second year begins.

1. Can I set up a new album for next year, thus distinguishing my first year from 2017? If so will this happen automatically once I reach Day 365? I'm sure that I've seen some people do this.

2. Will my first year of photos always be visible, so long as I remain an Ace member? I'd hate to lose access to them after all the hours I dedicated to the project!

Thanks so much to anyone who can help with an answer. Really looking forward to year two! Happy new year to all 🎉!

Well done to you Karen for completing your first year. If you go yo Your Project then Albums then Add Album you can name it 2017, make it your default album and off you go with a new album. As long as you stay an Ace member, all your photos are visible. Good luck

@kjarn Congratulations Karen! Today is the end of my first year on here too, and I have enjoyed it immensely. So much so that there is no way I can stop, and have already set up my 2017 album (followed Kathy's instructions above). This has been a great community full of support, encouragement and just amazing talent. Here's to 2017! 😊

Congratulations Karen.
I've been here for more than 6 years and I may suggest to continue the same album.
- it's nice to be able to look easily at the previous pictures
- Ace member, as far as I remember allows 4 or 5 albums. You not have enough if you'll continue for years.
xo and happy new year

Congratulations Karen! If you want the numbers to start over at #1 you have to begin a new album. It does not happen automatically. As an Ace member you get 5 albums, so you could do a new album for 5 years, but then you'd either have to set up a new account, or delete one album and do it over. I'm heading into year #7, but I like to just continue on and not start another album. The fun thing about continuing in the same album is looking at the total count of pictures you've posted. It's exciting when you hit 1,000! The continuous count does happen automatically. As an ace member you will always be able to see your pictures, but the commentary and stats go away after awhile (the website can only handle so many statistics and info with all the photographers on here!). So once again congratulations!!

@olivetreeann @parisouailleurs as an ace member you get an extra album each year every time you renew. I have 9 albums available to me at the moment so plenty to do a new album each year.

@kjarn That's interesting to know- I have no idea how many I have because I only use 2 (that's all I can handle!). Thanks for the info!!
