Posting from Desktop to 365?

May 10th, 2017
Hi everyone, sorry if I am becoming a nuisance! So far I managed to import to Lightroom, get the correct settings and export to my Desktop! Now the problem starts, as I do not know how to get the photo's into 365? This must sound silly but it is the first time I am using a PC! Unfortunately I do not have anyone at hand to help me.Until now I have only used my cellphone which is very easy. Obviously there is much more editing that one can do with Lightroom. The problem is that it is always difficult to do something for the first time. I am so grateful for all the help I have received so far and really appreciate it. thanks so much :-)

Click the "Upload" button on the website at the top (or go to https://365project.org/upload ) and then either drag the files into the window or click the area at the top~!

@ludwigsdiana
Here are the steps I follow. I hope this helps (I use a mac though):
1. Import (be use to use keywords so you can find your photos again!) and process in LR
2. Once processed, the ones I want to upload I use the menu under File to "Export" and I export them to Dropbox where I keep a file of photographs by month. If I post an exported shot, I also label it in keywords "project365" so I can find them all if I want to.
3. Uploading to Project 365 is easy -- just click upload on the top menu bar and then it takes you to your computer menu/catalogue to find the file you want to upload.

i have the exact opposite problem. i can only import from my pc and can not figure out how to import from my tablet at all. have to send them from there to my pc, then try to find where it went and usually can not find it so i downloaded dropbox. never use it except for sending photos back and forth. i find it very confusing and am very thankful i have grandchildren who know what they are doing!

@taffy Hi Taffy, Mac seems to be different to my PC as I do not have a 'file to export' option. Thanks for your input though, maybe someone else can help me solve my problem 😉

@ludwigsdiana Just checking in. Did you get it figured out? I do what Miseria does ... open the "upload" page in 365, then I drag and drop the photo from my desktop to the upload page. Hope that worked for you.

@taffy @catsmeowb @aecasey Thanks so much for your input and help. I managed to upload to 365, but deleted the photo's immediately! They looked so small and squashed! I did not like that at all. Will try again tomorrow with different settings. Once again, thanks everyone 💐

@aecasey Hi April, thanks to all the help, I am slowly getting there. Do you have your photo's in collections or folders? I had them all over which I wanted to change. In doing so I deleted almost all my photo's from LR by mistake 🙈. This morning I found them in the trash and restored them. Now to get them back to LR. Thanks for the help and have a fab weekend 😀

I think your photos looked small and squashed because you had not entered all your information once that is all done and clicked it becomes large on your page. I have all my photos in monthly folders which my PC automatically does for me and makes them easier to find .

@wendyfrost Thanks so much for the info Wendy! I am a novice at this and would not know where or how to put the information in! ( let alone where to find it) Could you please advise me as to what to do! I really appreciate any help I can get. Thanks so much 💐

Upload your photo then go to continue. Put in your photo's chosen title in the box then go to description and put in any details. Put in your tags. When done go to save your uploads at the bottom of the page.
Click 365project at the top to get your larger picture up.It will tell you your uploads have been saved. I am not good with computers either Diana I tend to pick it up as I go along as I have only been using one for a few years but my daughter or granddaughter always help me if I get stuck. Good Luck.
