I was just merging some days of photos into my Jan file in iphoto and noticed i'd reached 2388 photos this month alone...
How many do you take a month?
I used to average about 300 odd a month and usually 1000 odd in december (#1 son's bday and xmas)... but cleary project 365 has upped the anti here!! LOL
Look out external hard drive... i see your previous 5GB months and raise you to 20BG a month!! OUCH this is going to be pricey!
I don't manage that many. But then I'm fairly fussy about which photos I keep. I won't keep all of the ones that are out of focus or don't capture the whole of an object and that sort of thing. I don't keep the ones where the lighting was bad. Then if I have two similar ones I'll only keep the better of them, unless they both are good in different ways. And I'll also get rid of any I just don't like. Which means that so far for January, I have about 100 photos.
no idea at the mo'... I know I have over 50,000 on my external drive, but that is a few years effort...
Best single day, was the Goroka Festival in the Highland of Papua New Guinea, the ultimate day out for a photographer. 800 shots were fired off on that day, and not many duds...
How many photos I take is a sore point with my hubby when it comes to our computer. lol. I've already had to empty my memory card a few times this year. *blush*
I only started on 9th January and already I've taken 502 photos. Some days I'll only take about 10 photos if I know what I'm taking, other days it could be over 100, especially if I'm outdoors.
I do not know how many photos I take per month. I take about 100 pictures per day. On my slow days, I take about 50. Yesterday, I went on a road trip to a location, where I take lots of photos. I took about 200 pictures there. I am in the process of deleting some really bad photos to get some more space on my computer. These are ones where I had really bad camera shake or goofed and took a picture of the floor.
I seem to average about 3,000 a month. Depends on how many photo assignments I have throughout the month and where I shoot. If I'm just shooting around town, I only shoot about 50 photos in a day. But if I'm shooting wildlife in a national park, I've been known to walk away with 3,000 photos in a single day.
I have a 1 terabyte drive from Apple that I use to store my photos. Last year, I used 140GB worth of that drive.
However, I keep, use, and sell over 50% of my photos.
