I am so thrilled to have found this site. Looking through your pictures every day is a delight and a great motivation to improve my photography skills.
I am recently retired, living in a semi-rural area with a lot of sunshine but very little architecture or cultural events. I'll be capturing anyway my surroundings which I find beautiful.
I've been warmly welcomed and encouraged with my beginner photos. Thank you so much!
I see some people are uploading more than one photo a day. I've tried to find out how to do the same. Could you direct me to an article or discussion explaining how to do that?
@corinnec - hi, Corinne. welcome to 365. for your initial ace membership, you will get a second album. every year that you renew your membership you will be given an extra album so that by the time you've been here for 5 years, you would have had 4 or 5 more albums. people upload more than 1 photo a day because they either have multiple albums that they keep up to date, or they are behind in posting their daily photos. however if you are up to date with your posting and you want to upload a couple more, you can use your second album and post at a past date, e.g., if you want to post more but you have already posted for today, you can post it on say October 15.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Photography presents many challenge for me both technical and artistic. Being on this site is wonderful as I can look at so many beautiful photos. Thanks again for your help!
Welcome to 365 Corinne! Since you've already gotten the answer to your question about posting, I just want to encourage you that what you see in your rural area is just as beautiful as what someone might see on their city street. 365ers aren't really concerned with spectacular views etc. (although we do like them!) but what we enjoy most is seeing the world through each others' eyes and camera lenses. And you will find that the more you capture and post the things you see, and get feedback from the great folks here, your photos will improve and your skill increase. I know that was my experience- so don't look down on yourself- look through your lens and share your world with us!
@olivetreeann Thank you for your warm message it touched me. I'll do my best and keep admiring and analyzing pictures on this site. I am so excited to have found people sharing he same passion for photography whatever their motivations!
Hi Corinne,
I am not sure if your question was how to actually get more albums to up load too ?
If you click on the little body shape icon on the far right of the header board, you will see an option of "your profile" click on that, and then you will see " manage albums", then "Add an album" if you still have that option available. As has been said above you have two as an ace, and get an extra one for each year you are here.
Once you have chosen a name for your new album, ( you can't edit this later), click save and off you go.
Hope this helps.
To post more than a photo a day you need to upgrade to ACE membership and pay a fee.
As years go by you can then have more albums for same membership fee ( hope that makes sense?!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond - did i make sense?
