@dune1953@webfoot , I have to say in looking over this discussion, your photos seem to have the most natural look about them. While I understand the concept, the whys and the hows; I find most of the HDR to look a little not natural and a bit too overprocessed. Great job at making all the elements work in your photos.
@rbobh69 Thank you. The strange thing is that these were all taken when I first tried it a couple years ago. Unfortunately, they've gotten "crappier"over time, so I hardly do it anymore.
@maceugenio yes, but i would only use it, if your subject is a very grungy looky person, even then maybe not, but it would work on some occasions , so give it a try! :)
Could any of you with more experience give me a basic explanation of how to do this? I have a canon 500D but no editing software apart from gimp. Thanks =D
