I was reading the blog this week about challenges and photo projects so I thought that I would challenge myself to do a rainbow challenge and thought that I would put it out there to see if anyone else would like to join we could tag out images rainbowchallenge (or some other creative idea that someone may have) so that we can all see each others creations.
Rules I am going to try and stick to (feel free to modify it to your needs) - take a weeks worth of photos per colour until you have completed the rainbow.
colour order:
Red
Orange
Yellow
Green
Blue
Purple
I will be starting a new colour on Mondays

I realized you are talking about what I have been doing kind of. Last week for the awesome-august challenge we did one day per Olympic color, silver, gold and the ring colors. This week I am doing more colors by myself and the calendar view has been fun to watch as it fills in.
@kbradbury Kate, I was amazed the first day of this red challenge week when we took Jinks for a walk, at how many red items I saw which I had before not categorized as 'red' or, (some of them) even seen at all!
I'd already become much more observant since starting 365 in Dec 2011 but now have gone up another gear in what I notice around me.
So, a big thank you for your idea of the rainbow challenge!
@tinmaddog I followed the challenge as given for the colours so I missed out indigo which is actually in the colours of the rainbow . It would have been a really difficult colour for me so maybe as well. You have some very 'contemporary' indigo shots, I think.
@kbradbury Kate, I've now finished my rainbow challenge and can only say how much I've enjoyed it and thanks for the idea. It's made me even more observant and I think it's generally sharpened up my photographic skills. Funny thing is that today I've realised that I've posted two red shots so I wonder if my brain is starting all over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
