It is an honor to select the item for this weeks challenge.It was not hard to decide as I am fascinated with DOOR HANDLES :)
There seems to be a sense of mystery and possibility when entering through a door.
"A door handle is an attached mechanism used to open or close a door.A door handle generally can refer to any fixed or lever-operated door latch device, including on car doors. The term door knob (or simply doorknob) tends to refer to round operating mechanisms."
The mundane theme was started by Aaron @grizzlyghost, for those of us who may have lost inspiration. He suggested we take an ordinary, boring object and start shooting it. Turn the ordinary into the extraordinary!
You are free to use any photographic technique you like to capture this everyday object. The only rule: there can be no question the object of the challenge is the star!
Challenge Time Frame:
The challenge officially starts Friday October 4th and runs through to midnight Friday 0ctober 11th. (EST)
on Saturday October 12th the five finalists will be posted
Voting will begin on Saturday October 12th and run to Midnight Tuesday October 15th (EST)

@archaeofrog oh...Katie!!They are absolutely gorgeous! Such craftsmanship and artistry..and of course your images of them are wonderful!! If only I had actual walls to hang a poster in my cabin!
Hope, last time when there was a doors theme on ETSOOI I went looking for doors and came home with many interesting door pictures which I wouldn't have noticed if it was not for the theme.
Now I guess I'll have to go looking for door handles. I'm sure there will be many cute handles as well. Only thing is, this time I might get caught peering at the door handles closely on the streets. Lol.
@gozoinklings I wondered the same thing couple days ago. I think the winner was never announced. Just went and checked the voting and Hope @mzzhope Is clearly winner of that one too. Hope, since this mundane challenge is about to end soon, maybe you can pick the next one when the new mundane object is announced?
