2014: Muse-in-March

Thank you to all who suggested words for 2014’s Muse-in-March.

Please note that the dates are just recommendations and you do not have to stick to them, you can use any of the 38 words in any order you like, if you wish to.

The tag for March will continue in the same format as before, First three letters or the month, the year and then ‘words’.

Sorry, I didn’t check the number of words nominated. I believe it was close to 300. This is how I compiled the list (please note it has changed from how I have done it in the past):
- First, I removed the words that were used in January and February.
- I then went through the list to find words with dates attached and assigned the word with the highest number of nominations to that date.
- Other words with the highest number of nominations were added randomly through-out the month.
- By doing it this way, there are some words on the list that only had one nomination. I felt that I needed to do something that would give us more of a variety as we have had a lot of words reused.
Please let me know your thoughts on these changes, and I will take them into consideration in following months.
- As agreed in previous months, the following words are bonus words each month; Birthday and Anniversary along with the Star Signs and Birth Stones. I also added Birth Flowers.
The bonus words are: Birthday, Anniversary, Aquarius & Pisces (star signs) as well as Amethyst (birthstone) iris & violet (birth flowers). Here is our list for March (why they were chosen [number of times suggested]):

@kjarn Hi, Kathy. I'm sorry that I have missed you. I really thought that you were on my list. I will update that. Bulldog and I are working together to try and get all the tags consistent. I'm not sure what we will do yet...he might end up doing all the tagging. I promise, we will have it resolved before the nominations for next month.

@skstein I had the same question, Sandy. The posts are telling me that they are "boardshorts". I wasn't sure what that was either, but researching it, they appear to be rather colorful shorts, that you would expect to see on a beach or something. We are currently having blizzard conditions, I don't think the shorts will be rolling out for a while. I will probably have to resort to an alternate word for the day.
