Thank you to @bill_fe and @vstap for mentioning it. The original WCYS-11 thread said, that the challenge will run until October 19th but the super dump me already started the voting. I am so sorry. This is all new to me and I was a bit too excited I guess.
I suggest that we keep the voting running and I will do another vote next sunday. I will then announce both winners after the second vote and they will host the next one together. Or they can start two challenges (maybe with an abstract one).
If that is the worst idea ever please say so. I will now go and find a big black hole to jump into.
Please don't jump into a hole! It's an honest mistake - easily made. I went ahead and voted and never even thought about it, even though I had the deadline noted down in my iPod! We are all human. Sounds like an ok solution. Why not?
This could have been me. I have liked the honour of being in a final but always hope I won't have the glory of winning a challenge. Could you have another vote to decide. Between 2 winners? We sometimes have a tie and vote again. But, No Jumping in holes :)
Don't worry Maren, I totally messed up my first challenge win, I was so lucky that the people affected were very understanding. This is no biggy at all :)
