Thank you so much for your votes on tag challenge 136. Also thank you, @summerfield for hosting the last tag challenge. So now, let's play!
Here are the rules for Tag Challenge 137:
Step 1: Go to the "Browse" section and select the "By Tag" link. Close your eyes and randomly click on a tag.
Step 2: Do it again - no peeking!
These two tags are now your photo assignment. You will use your two randomly chosen tags as an inspiration to create one picture that encompasses both tags... or for an added challenge you can try three tags if you want to!
Please CLEARLY state your two (or three) tags when you post your entries as this will let me know what your tags were. You may submit more than one entry (using the same tags).
For this challenge if you choose a set of words that you feel would be impossible to do anything with, rather than skip the challenge, you may opt for the hostβs tag words of "house" and "old" or for those of you doing the three-tag challenge, try "house", "old" and the last tag I got was the 365er @kareenking (selected randomly by me as above). Bonus points if your photo in her style. :)
Start of challenge: Today, Thursday, January 19, 2017
End of challenge: The morning in Colorado (MST) of Thursday, February 2, 2017
Voting starts: immediately after the end challenge date
Winner announced: soon after
Tag your entries tag-challenge-137
NOTE - Photos must be taken within the challenge time frame to be considered for a vote.
The number of finalists will be chosen depending on number of entries.
I may give this one a try although I am not to excited with my two tags;
garden and hipstamatic. Since it is winter there is not much of a chance of finding a garden.
There's no way in hell I'm going to buy or rent a lensbaby. I mostly despise images taken with one. Maybe I'll change my mind when my sight gets worse. :) So, old and house it is. :)
@skipt07 - I don't know if you ever take pics with your phone, but hipstamatic has some really fun filters. May be great to use with a wintery dried up garden...and remember, you can always use "old" and house". :)
@wenbow - Excited to see your Tasmanian mountains ... or how you interpret the challenge.
@bill_fe - While I have seen some cool shots with the lensbaby, I have to admit that I too am not a huge fan of it. Maybe to do with my own close vision getting worse by the year or when I see a purposely blurry shot my mind tries very hard to put it into focus which gives a bit of a headache. Good luck with "old" and "house"!

@olenadole - Intriguing combination!

@yorkshirekiwi - Sounds like a delicious combination!
@hubmom - Nice! Hope your weather cooperates with whatever your vision is for your image. :)
@la_photographic - So many possibilities! Those sound like fun.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond - Fun! I couldn't help but think of the times when I was younger and we used to hang our feet out of the car window.
@henrir - What a great combination!
Looking forward to seeing everyone's pics!
