I am delighted to have the privilege of hosting the new ESTOOI Challenge, following in the footsteps of @Stephanies and many before that. Thank you Stephanie for running the challenge and to all who took part.
This is what the ETSOOI challenge is all about:
"ETSOOI is an acronym started by MaryBeth @espyetta. It stands for EDITING THE SORRY-NESS OUT OF IT which basically means editing your picture in any way you like.
If you are new to editing/processing here are some great tools to use besides photoshop:
Snapseed
PicsArt
Pencil Sketch Free
Camera360
Deep Art Effects
You can use more than one program/app per image. This challenge is very relaxed so just have a play around with your picture and see what you can create. "
I liked the idea of having a theme to direct people's thoughts, and so this time round, I am setting the theme of blues. You can interpret this in any way you like, as long as whatever image you start with, you give me some blues with the finished edit.
The challenge starts NOW (Monday 28 August/Tuesday 29 August, and will close midnight on Saturday 16 September 2017 BST.
You can enter as many images as you like but they must have been taken within the time frame. The winner will host the next ETSOOI challenge.
@helenhall - it's okay. i will delete my first comment so it's not jarring but does it start tomorrow or today? thanks, Helen. will have something by the weekend.
@summerfield from where I am standing, there is only one hour left of today, which is why I put tomorrows date on it. But I realise now that your today has a way to go yet! I'm easy either way. Any photos taken and submitted on Monday 28 August will not be disqualified!!
@annied I could just start again! So sorry everyone for failing on this simple matter . I have had another go at putting the right date in. I will now go and have a lie down.
@helenhall hahahahaha I have done the exact same thing myself - and not just the first time around - it still happens and I find myself checking a dozen times to see if I make sense :)
Dates are confusing :) Is it still today or has tomorrow arrived is the question I always ask. Then I try to do the time change thing and usually end up phoning down to NZ in the wee small hours of the morning :) I will put my thinking cap on and see if I can come up with something for this :)
@stimuloog intriguing and wonderful tones. Thanks for posting. Lets keep the thread alive with some blues postings here. I had a quick go my self today.
Great challenging concept! Can you hear my mind crack? ;-)
