August Word of the Month Request

July 25th, 2018
The summer is flying by and we are already looking down the home stretch. It is once again time to submit suggestions for next month’s words.

My bus company has decided that it is time for me to drive a big 78 passenger bus once again rather than my small air conditioned van with 3 students so I have been doing the extensive training that is now required for the past two weeks. It seems as if there is always something that prevents me from participating fully in 365!

I will be taking suggestions until Sunday evening, (July 29th) with the intention of doing up the list then as well.

It continually does my heart good to see how many people participate in this great challenge. Your constant support makes the task of coordinating the word of the month a true pleasure. A HEART felt thank you, as usual, is in order here!

The theme months seem to be very popular. We did Alphabet August last year and I plan on doing it again this year so you can consider this when you make your suggestions. Please do not feel obligated to suggest words for the whole alphabet though - that would be over and above what is necessary!

Please do not worry if someone has already suggested your word - I will know how popular it is when I see it submitted more than once and will be sure to include it.

Have a great week!

Wow! Some great suggestions, and some I don't even understand...Smile. I don't think I can add to the list.

I appreciate your putting all this together. I haven't been good and participating, but the list is always there for suggestions. I'll try to do better.

@lumpiniman Wow, John! The whole alaphabet! That is wonderful! Thank you.
@mittens Thanks for your word suggestions, Marilyn! Driving the bus s easy - dealing with the passengers can be challenging!
@henrir So good to see you pop into the word of the month when you can. Don't worry about not doing them, you are so busy on this site with a ton of great shots you just do not have time for them all!

@farmreporter Thank you, Wendy. For some reason, it just seems I am not out and about as much as I need to be to capture many of the words.
