The Next Song Title Challenge Starts Now!

February 5th, 2019
Big thanks to Dawn @Dawn for hosting the last challenge. I am absolutely delighted to host the next one. Many thanks to everyone who tagged an entry and everyone who took the time to vote. This is probably my favourite of all the challenges – through the links, I have discovered some never-heard before music and revisited some old favourites.

Here's the info:
The object of this challenge is to take a picture that represents a song title. This is an opportunity to get creative by taking a photo that is inspired by a song title or finding a song title that fits a photo you have taken. Anyone can enter and you can tag more than one entry.

You can choose any song as long as it is not on the retired list:
* You Can Leave Your Hat On – Joe Cocker

Tag your entries – songtitle-48

All photos must have been taken and posted within this time frame.

If you can, please add a link to the song as well, so that we can give it a listen.
Please feel free to post your entry here, too – this will keep the challenge current on the discussion boards and hopefully inspire more people to enter!

Looking forward to seeing your entries. Have fun!

here's my entry... for the song "space oddity"... and i have a question for everyone who plays... do you start with a song in your head and set out to make a picture of it? or do you see something that makes you think of a song? or do you take a picture of something and then think about whether there is a song to go with it? i have done all three, but more often then not i start with tune cooties and try to take a picture to exorcise them... :D

@northy fabulous shot for the title! Mostly I take a picture and then think of the song. Often there are songs on my mind, like favourite songs and I try to find a fitting image.

@northy @ludwigsdiana Once saw a large pile of recently felled trees and "I'm a lumberjack and I'm ok" immediately popped into my mind :)
But, like Diana, a song usually comes when I view the shot later

Here's my entry, using Wichita Lineman, the late 60's hit for Glen Campbell
