I know you see this all the time but choosing the finalists for the Artist Challenge this time really was an incredible challenge! So many of you were inspired by Sarah Marino's images and brought her unique view of the world into your own captures so well that I wished I could have put more than 6 up for the vote! I was actually aiming for 5 but one of these images just couldn't be ignored so now you have one extra to choose from!
In order to keep a small portion of my sanity I decided to use Sarah's own categories as a starting point (Small Scenes, Favorite Color, Portraits of Plants, Abstracts and Patterns, Dreamy Plants, and Impressions of Trees) and selected images that I felt captured the essence of her approaches to these topics. Even with that loosely based criteria to guide me I still struggled to narrow down the finalists! If you'd like a refresher on her work, check this site out:

So my humble thanks to all who participated and offered up some incredibly beautiful interpretations of her work. And now it's your turn to narrow these final 6 down to a winner who will host the next round.
