The Black and White challenge 58 was won on the 6th December @ingrid01. Unfortunately they have either been unwilling or unable to start challenge 59. The black and white challenge is a popular theme on 365 and it seems a shame to let it die. Does any on want to pick up the challenge for 2021? Please reply below.
Maybe it just slipped their mind? However, if @ingrid01 is not able to set up a new challenge and no one else wants to do it, I’d be happy to start the first B&W challenge of the year...
@northy Thanks they have still been posting and have been nudged a few times. Shall we give them till Sunday and if no response it would be great if you could keep the challenge alive :)
Personally, I'd really like to see more black and white challenges and ones that aren't equipment specific. I'd really like to improve my black and white shots - from every aspect. I think the challenges are great for that.
@marlboromaam i'm curious to know what you mean about challenges that are not equipment specific... do you mean camera gear? or editing software? or...?
i think most of the b&w challenges have related to subjects rather than techniques, and either way, i would have thought that equipment wasn't critical...
but i am definitely curious as to what you are referring to... i started the challenge originally because people seemed interested in practicing with b&w... it would be good to know what type of challenge would be helpful!
i have left a message on Ingrid's post. she should be replying soon. if she's unable to host the next one, i suggested that she ask the last host to get one of the other finalists to host the next b/w challenge. but please wait for her response.

And I think for future it might be good to leave a message under the winning photo to make sure the person is aware that they won... I love to enter when a challenge appeals to me, but when live gets in the way I often forget to check on it... expecting that do not win anyway...
