Ik heb besloten dat ik nu ook eens een thema-challenge ga plaatsen, en dan met name omdat ik nieuwsgierig ben, naar hoeveel Nederlandse deelnemers er nou eigenlijk zijn in dit fantastische project. Of wie een Nederlandse oorsprong heeft, wellicht en zich daar ook nog steeds mee verbonden voelt. Voor degenen die de taal misschien niet meer beheersen wel het verzoek om zowel typisch-Hollands als typical Dutch aan zijn tags toe te voegen! Ook het commentaar, als het lukt 2-talig. Ik ben benieuwd!
I have decided to start a theme-challenge, because I am very curious how many Dutch participants are on this wonderful project . Or, who has Dutch roots and still feels strongly attached to Holland even. For those who may not still control the language, please enter both tags: typisch-Hollands as well as typical-Dutch. And if you are able please write you're comment bilingual. (Misspellings are always forgiven) I can't wait!

I'm almost out of here (May 20) and I have over the last 12 months done only a few below:
I bake a Taai Taai recipe - I then cut out 'tree' shapes and the children glue them together with royal icing and decorate with lollies for their Christmas Day table ... beats doing gingerbread! The uncut piece is shown here ...
These Ice skates were paid for by me but purchased by my sister when she lived in Holland way back around 1979. This is her daughter modelling for me.
'Beschuit met muisjes' - not quite ... just on bread for lunch. NO babies around, and it was bliss.
Don't have time to find a translator on the internet but cheers for the concept.
I am Dutch so I guess I should be able to participate :)

In ieder geval is dit typisch Rotterdams:
taken back on a wet night in february in Venray. I am not Dutch but have some small pieces of work over in Venray this year. I did my stage in Delft back in 1994 and I lived in Den Haag for a year...Holland is a place very dear to my heart - I always feel like I'm going to a familiar place when I visit even though I was only there for a short period of time. I will look forward to catching your very Dutch shots in the future!! @halkia keeps me smiling with her country scenes - keep them coming!
I'm not Dutch but I worked in The Netherlands for 5 years. I'll follow the thread and the posted pics ;-)
Don't really speak, only basic sentences, but I can read Dutch globally.

@halkia Hahaha, ik had beter moeten weten. Zo bezig met andere plantjes, dat ik daar nooit aan gedacht had. Ook dat kan geregeld natuurlijk. Maar dan moet er misschien een Amsterdam topic komen. Laat ik daar nou wonen ;)

Nice challenge, though I think we confirm the prejudices of wooden shoes, tulips, bikes, mills etc. :D

Hi, I'm also Dutch and I live in Haarlem, 20 km from Amsterdam and 5km from the sea. In my town we have serveral windmills and this one (1879) was used as polder mill
I'm not Dutch, but my husband is, hence the Dutch last name. I love tulips, and we have an area near us that is predominantly Dutch where they grow lots of tulips, so I have lots of pictures from the tulip gardens. Here's one of those:

Kom deze nu pas tegen maar moet wel wat posten natuurlijk :-) Echt Nederlands? Dat is best lastig als ik even terug kijk in mijn album. Deze komt nog het meeste in de buurt :-)
En misschien deze...
@odje zag je vraag nu pas (was een tijdje niet op het project): Waar je tags kan invullen, kun je er meerdere achter elkaar zetten met een spatie ertussen (als je upload, bij het beschrijven van je foto of later met "edit")
