Hi all, just wondering if any of you set up slideshows to view your images? I have a lot of shots from my recent trip to Rome and I'd love to create a slideshow to music. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to get started?
Thanks in advance!
Laura
If you're using a Mac then the iMovie app should give you everything you need... I'm pretty sure there is something similar thru Microsoft but I don't recall what it is called...
@northy Wow! What a fantastic slide show and and absolutely stunning set of images. The music was perfect. Unfortunately I'm not working on a Mac, I'm a Windows user, but thank you for some serious inspiration!
Depending on what version of Windows you are running there is a piece of software called Windows Movie Maker that will let you make slideshows, add music etc
Best software investment I've made in a long time, and on a PC! I was blown away by how easy it was to use and how awesome it is. Here is a video I did in 30 minutes for my swim team customer. http://youtu.be/LKo8cR4Ehvo
I'm not kidding...its awesome and fairly inexpensive...about $100 US.
I made one for my birth client using Lightroom (I can't remember if you have that Laura?). I had to search for a few how-tos and it appears to be a fairly basic kind of function but it did the job quite nicely :)
I just found Windows Live Music Maker on my computer. I just used it and practised with a few photos & music. Its wonderful. Thanks Laura for putting the post up.
I've used Photoshop Elements, Windows Live Movie Maker and online I've just started trying out a site called Stupeflix which seems ok although not as good as One True Media which ceased business a little while ago.
I agree completely with Thomas @thomastoth. Pro-Show rocks. I have used Gold and then Producer for years. Well worth the price, particularly if you plan on doing multi media shows (Movie clips, photos and music).
