Creature in the wood

A filler from back-along-a-while. It's part of the wooden rail from beside Bear Brook which runs beside the Heron Path, Wendover. I liked the shapes of the graining in the wood.
Had a busy weekend entertaining our son, Gareth, who was home on a visit ; will catch up on commenting as soon as ever I can.
