Alternatively - Quick! Before the lights change!
Lester and I were waiting for some pedestrian crossing lights to change in our favour and I happened to glance back and saw that the clouds had parted a little and that the sunlight was shining on the National Gallery (at the back of Trafalgar Square).
I very quickly took 2 shots. By the time I took the second (7 seconds later) the sunlight had moved to illuminate the wall lower down, behind the fountain, and was not shining on the gallery building at all.
