After the fun of yesterday it was back to wrk this morning. I spent a lot of time cleaning the spinner which was encrusted with dust and dirt from Waterstones in Kingston. It took an hour or so to carefully wash each side and rinse it down. I did three lots of washing and pulled over 400 card ready to make up and deliver next week.
I also made two Victoria sponges for Charley and James (respectively lemon and coffee) as we headed over to see them later in the afternoon and then out to dinner in Oxted. A better meal this time as the restaurant is definitely more show than content but my sliced blue steak served on rocket and parmesan was nice. The cake and presents went down well although we had doubled yet again on Jame’s present and so need to buy another book.
This is Charley - now 18 years and James now 14 (and 6 ‘ 2”!).
(Just realised that I've photobombed my own photo!).
