Colin’s operation - number 2.

This morning Colin had the final drop in his eye before the regime starts all over again with his left eye after he has it operated on this afternoon. The journey down was good and the weather is so warm at the moment. It literally felt like Spring as we went for lunch in our favourite cafe in the nearby town of Cranbrooke and managed a selection of cakes! It was so mild that I spotted a Brimstone Butterly in the verge on our way to the hospital.

The operation went more quickly this time and it was not so worrying as we knew what to expect. Needless to say, this time there was a small complication that may mean Colin has to have a small amount of laser surgery at a later date.

Colin says the colours are much more vibrant and these daffodils and crocuses were certainly bright on the roundabout outside!
