Karen and Charley came over this lunch time (should have been this morning!). We had quick lunch here and then took the bus over to Richmond. Repeating my day with Mum and Ian a few weeks ago, we stopped first at Danielli’s for ice cream (salted caramel for me this time). Then we waited for the Turks Boat to arrive and took it all the way to Hampton Court. The weather was almost as good as my previous trip. This time we were travelling on a lower tide so we had to pass through the lock upstream which was interesting. This is a beautifully iridescent beetle I found called a Green Dock Beetle.
In the evening we decided to use our 25% discount voucher at Bar Estilo and Chris joined us. We ordered so many tapas dishes that the lady looking after our table had to bring an auxiliary side table for the dishes! The same excellent quality as usual.
