I tried to be good by keeping up the running whilst we are down in Penzance as I will be missing the Park Run this Saturday. I estimated what 5kms would be and set off running up and down the Prom and into Newlyn. This was working well until I checked Strava and must had accidently paused it so in fact I probably ran nearer 6kms but it shows less than 5! During this time Colin was illicitly collecting large rounded pebbles for our herb bed back home and having a paddle.

Despite being just under a week since Mum’s big op, she insisted on walking into town to pick up some bits and bobs. I agreed as long as I carried all the bags and in the event I also managed to pick up pasties for us all and cakes! It really is so nice that Mum can literally meets people she knows every twenty feet or so of walking. In fact we spent a bit of time looking after one of her friends clothes stall as she was desperate for a ‘comfort break’!
