Mum texted this morning and I called her a little later as she is worried that she may have an infection at the wound site. After strong persuasive skills by myself and Hester she managed to get an appointment with another specialist consultant in Truro who gave her some antibiotics. I am glad she got a professional opinion - now for us to persuade her to actually take the drugs!
Colin had a flu jab this morning and then we headed over to Karen and Ian’s as we have not seen them for a while. We also had a long chat about Chris and Mouse who apparently have split up. 2019 - the year that keeps on giving!
These are some lovely sloes in the garden. We went to the village tea shop for afternoon tea and later on the way home to Super Fish for Huss and mushy peas!
