22nd July 2020

Day 120 of semi lock down.

Colin was at golf first thing this morning but only played nine holes so he was back to make the coffee. Whilst he was out I baked a small Victoria sponge cake and had a quick vacuum around.

Dave arrived just before 1.00pm and it was great to see him. It was so hot that we were able to eat outside on the patio. I served up a selection of salads with a cold roast chicken and all seem to go down very well along with a slice of the cake and a cup of tea afterwards. It was great to catch up and it seems that Linda is in a much nicer place now and closer to where Dave lives.

We were not sure whether or not David will be able to stay for dinner but in the event he had to get back to his son's house as they were going out for an evening meal. We also went out as I had another print to deliver to Jenny whose family I photographed back in January. It was nice to see her and I noticed that she has framed and mounted a couple of the photographs that I took back in the winter.
