12th February 2021

Day 331 since the start of the 1st lock down.

It was bitterly cold today but sunny and the snow has stopped. It was minus temperature for the entire day. As we had not been out much over the past few days because of the weather, we decided to combine our daily exercise with work by walking all the way to Molesey to deliver just a small restock of greeting cards. Their shop was very busy and we had to queue to get in as only two people are allowed in at a time. We picked up a sandwich in Molesey which we stood and ate on Hampton Court bridge. Although it was bright sun it was bitter and within a couple of minutes my hands were numb. It took us a good distance before we started to warm up again and my knees were hurting quite a bit.

By the time we got to Tescos to buy ingredients for Valentines day meal and retuned home we had walked over 15,000 footsteps.

I was quite tired but summoned the energy later in the afternoon to continue decorating and painted the second coat on the windowsill, the door and my mirror frame. All is going well and to schedule.
