At least Colin managed to get a dental appointment for this morning - this is the view as I sat and waited outside for him - the new architectural styles clinic almost next to late Georgian houses.
Grant Shapps - Transport Secretary made the long awaiting travel announcement late this afternoon. Most of it has been leaked over the past week so the only thing he was really announcing and of the most interest to us all if countries on the so called ‘green list’ . In the event there were far lass of them than expected and the only one of real interest to us id Portugal. However the prices of flights will rise sharply and the cost of the 2-3 tests each required despite us being vaccinated will dd hundreds to the cost of a holiday. The announcement also finally crushed the slim chance of us going to Switzerland in June. I am pretty gutter as I planned the trip for months and have worried for even longer. I need to start cancelling and changing dates tomorrow so it is moved next year and does actually happen… eventually.
