1 year, 55 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020
First full day in Cornwall and it was… raining and very strong winds. The wind was so strong in fact that a team of coast guards were on patrol to warn people against walking too close to the edge of the promenade as the waves were picking up stones and dashing them against both cars and pedestrians.
The wind was so strong that we could lean out entire weight into it and still remain standing!
In the afternoon Mum and I braved the wind and rain again for a walk into town to pickup some bits and pieces. Although we did not do much it was nice to simply enjoy each others company and a location different to home.
