23rd October 2021

1 year, 204 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020

Colin was good and headed out to take part in the Park Run, I got up a bit later! Whilst he was out I headed out to deliver my first private order of Christmas cards to Avenue Road and payment was waiting for me in an envelope on the front step which was nice.

Back home and the banging continued all morning in next doors kitchen and the massively overfilled skip was replaced with a new empty one. Colin decided to take advantage of this and asked Jamie if we could dispose of an incredibly heavy old ‘Coldshield’ door which has been in the garage for decades. The door was incredibly heavy and it took us quite some time to not only manage to get it out from behind lots of stuff stacked in the garage but also to lug it downtime garden, through the house and then into the skip. A good job done and we careful arranged it not to take up any space in the skip.

Todays photo is of the skip lorry making it’s delivery and also taken just in case the lorry pranged the car!
